The product

“For the first time in forever, I fell asleep when my head hit the pillow.”
PAMELA W. — VERIFIED OWNER
Why you're still awake

The same conversation, again. Your brain won't put the day down — and the silence gives it the whole stage.

Sore ears, dead batteries, and a cord you find at 3am. Sound helps — wearing it doesn't.

They want silence. You need sound. Someone always loses — until the sound stops at your ear.
Before you buy it
Same track, both times. The first is what reaches your ear through the pillow. Now flip it: that is what reaches theirs, eighteen inches away, on the other side of the bed. Headphones on, if you have them.
Soundscape · one of 60+ in the library
Press play, then switch sides.
What apps can't do
Through the pillow — how long you take to settle, when you begin to wake. Nothing to wear. No recording: sleep is sensed by movement through the pillow.
Which sounds settle YOU. Not the average customer. You.
A brain tunes out whatever it's heard a hundred times. Drowsie swaps the sound before the rain becomes furniture.
That's the Settle Loop.

“I use it every night, and I keep one always charged.”
JUNE A. — VERIFIED OWNERThe sound works tonight. The learning starts tomorrow.
Night thirty
Every sound tried, ranked by how the night actually went. This is the report the Settle Loop is working towards from the first night you put your head down — nothing you fill in, nothing you rate.

Thirty nights
Rain, under your pillow — only you hear it, and the other side of the bed hears nothing. Nothing to wear, nothing to set. That part works the first night.
You don't open the app. You put your head down and something is already playing — the one that actually settled you on Tuesday.
The 3am wake-up still comes. It just doesn't get the whole night.

A quiet report lands: the sounds that earned their place, the week you slept best, the month you nearly gave up in.
Your renewal lands in the same week — A$99 a year, for as long as you stay. You never pay for the speaker twice. Year two starts from everything it learned, not from scratch. That is the year it is actually good at this.
Thirty nights is what the guarantee is built around.
The honest maths
That isn't a trick. The year is what pays for the hardware — buy the year and we earn it back over twelve months, so the speaker costs you A$80. Buy the speaker on its own and it has to pay for itself the day it ships. That's A$249. Same speaker, different maths.
Two real prices, both of them sold on this site today. Nothing invented, nothing struck through that we've never charged.
“I hear the podcast perfectly, and my husband hears nothing.”

Before the price
No press logos, no faces we don't have permission for, no round numbers we can't source. Every review counted below is a verified purchase, and the full star distribution — including the seventeen at one and two stars — is down with the reviews.
Source: Loox verified-purchase reviews, read 30 Aug 2026. Nights slept is cumulative across the fleet, not nightly users.
Sleep Club
Stepping down costs you A$70 more. Speaker only is A$249. The year that includes the same speaker is A$179.

All of it is in the A$179. Nothing to add at checkout, nothing that arrives later with a price on it.
Twelve months from today, Sleep Club renews at A$99 a year — the Club only, because you already own the speaker. That is A$8.25 a month, billed once. Nothing else renews, nothing is charged in between, and year two starts from everything it learned about your nights rather than from scratch. Cancel in one tap and the speaker keeps playing anything you send it over Bluetooth.

Not a course. It's what the speaker is doing anyway, made visible — so you can see it working before you'd otherwise notice.
What actually changes

You're not calculating what you can cancel before your feet hit the floor.

Three pages in, the book falls on your chest. That used to be a good night.

They get silence. You get rain. The argument you've had four hundred times is over.

You wake, you turn over, and something is already playing. You don't count the hours left.

Soundscapes, sleep stories, brown and pink noise beds, and NSDR sessions — 60+ in the library, with new drops landing while you're in. There's a real sample playing further up this page:

The speaker is yours forever. Cancel and it keeps playing anything you send it over Bluetooth — Spotify, a podcast, an audiobook, whatever's already on your phone. What switches off is Sleep Club: the learning, the library, the tracking. Switch it back on any time, on the same speaker, and it picks up where your nights left off.

What isn't there
The row that matters is the third one. Everything else in this table has been solved before — changing the sound as you adapt is the one nothing on the shelf does.

From the founder
“The speaker is yours either way. That part was never negotiable.”
Mile · Melbourne
I built Drowsie because I couldn't sleep.
Not the dramatic kind. The ordinary kind — awake at 2am with the day still running, doing arithmetic about how many hours were left. I'd already bought the app. Then the white-noise machine. Then the earbuds that hurt after twenty minutes and were on the floor by morning.
The apps all had the same problem. They played the same thing on night ninety that they played on night one, and my brain had stopped hearing it somewhere around night twelve. And every one of them lived on my phone, which meant the phone lived in the bed.
The thing that finally worked was stupid and physical: a small speaker under the pillow. The sound arrives at your ear through the pillow and stops there — the other side of the bed hears nothing.
“That isn't a feature we invented. That's just how pillows work.”
So we made the speaker properly. Twelve millimetres thin, soft enough that you forget it's under there, nothing to wear, nothing recording. And then we did the part the apps don't: we taught it to notice how your nights actually go, and to change the sound before it wears off.
We're a small team in Melbourne. We don't have a celebrity. We have 447 people who left a review and more than ten thousand nights logged on these speakers. If it hasn't earned its place under your pillow in sixty, we refund every dollar and pay for the return.
The speaker is yours either way. That part was never negotiable.
